The PhenX Toolkit is a freely available, web-based catalog of standard measurement protocols for collecting data in biomedical and epidemiologic research. Use of PhenX (consensus measures for Phenotypes and eXposures) measures facilitates cross-study analysis to increase statistical power. Funded by the National Human Genome Research Institute, the PhenX Toolkit currently includes nearly 800 protocols in 25 research domains and additional depth in substance abuse and addiction, mental health, tobacco regulatory, sickle cell disease, and hemophilia inhibitor research.
