Excellims Corporation provides high performance ion mobility spectrometers as stand-alone analyzers or in combination with Mass Spectrometry (IMS-MS) and HPLC (HPLC-IMS). Ion mobility separates molecules by shape and size, enabling you to differentiate between isomers, to test models about molecular size (CCS) and conformation, or to distinguish compounds which are hard to resolve by chromatographic methods. With the Excellims MA3100 IMS add-on, optional ion mobility analysis capability can be added quickly to Orbitraps and other mass spectrometers without the expense of having to purchase a dedicated IMS-MS system. Combining the speed of IMS, high resolution (R > 70) and ESI ionization in a small package, Excellims ion mobility offers a powerful additional analytical dimension without a steep learning curve.
