Visit our booth to learn about our new libraries for 2020! The NIST Mass Spectrometry Data Center (MSDC) is responsible for the development of evaluated reference mass spectral libraries for the identification of chemical compounds and the analysis of complex mixtures. Databases include the NIST/EPA/NIH Mass Spectral Library (an electron-ionization library with over 306,000 compounds suitable for GC-MS), the NIST Tandem Mass Spectral Library (an electrospray ionization library with about 1,000,000 spectra of more than 30,000 compounds suitable for LC-MS), the NIST Peptide Mass Spectral Libraries (representing 9 species and the NIST mAb reference material), and the NIST GC Retention Index library (with 440,000+ entries). The NIST MSDC is a part of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) which is a bureau of the US Department of Commerce. The MSDC libraries are sold through distributors worldwide.
