AmberGen® is a Boston-based life science technology company and producer of Miralys™ spatial biology probes for imaging of tissues and other biological specimens. The probes are used for MALDI-based Immunohistochemistry (MALDI HiPLEX-IHC) imaging. Miralys™ enables highly multiplexed, multiomic and multimodal imaging of fresh-frozen and FFPE tissue samples. It gives customers the ability to merge MALDI-images of untargeted small molecules such as metabolites and drugs with MALDI-images of Miralys™-targeted macromolecules such as intact proteins - all on the same tissue specimen. Workflows including other imaging modalities, such as fluorescent and bright field microscopy, on the same sample are also enabled by the technology.
