We are a biotech company that produces and distributes biomolecules that are labeled with the stable isotopes 2H, 13C and 15N.
Our core competence, the fermentation of microorganisms in closed systems, distinguishes us from competitor technologies that are mostly chemical in nature. In a novel, purely biotechnology-based approach, we convert simple, inorganic stable isotope labeled molecules into complex organic molecules such as amino acids, peptides, proteins, nucleotides, RNA and DNA.
The metabolic labeling of biomolecules with stable isotopes sets us apart from chemical production methods in terms of both quality and cost efficiency.
Our vision is to further broaden the applications for stable isotope labeled biomolecules.
