Headquartered in the Silicon Valley, X-Scan Imaging is a leading designer and manufacturer of high-performance, CMOS and CCD Linear (photo)Diode Arrays (LDA) and Time-Delay-Integration (TDI) imaging detectors designed for x-ray imaging and inspection applications. X-Scan Imaging products are used for continuous scanning in diverse markets such as non-destructive test for energy and transportation infrastructure, homeland security, food safety, and electronics quality control.
Product lines include single energy, dual energy, high energy and also TDI detectors. Resolution options range from of 0.050mm, 0.1mm, 0.2mm, 0.4mm, 0.8mm, 1.6mm. ‘L’ and ‘U’ configurations are available. X-Scan also supplies sensor boards with these resolutions for OEM detector manufacturers with the 0.1mm/0.2mm and 0.4mm/0.8mm LDAs being selectable within one part number.
Time-Delay-Integration (TDI) configurations offer increased speed and/or decreased X-Ray source requirements by integrating the signal over multiple line stages.
