The Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service at Ohio University is a leader in addressing rural and state issues of national importance. The School has a strong reputation as a catalyst for economic growth, social impact, leadership, and community building. The Voinovich School is home to the Master of Public Administration, Master of Science in Environmental Studies, and Master of Science in Sustainability, Security and Resilience degrees. Through its public service mission, the School developed the Appalachian Law Enforcement Initiative, an innovative use of virtual reality technology to offer low cost, high impact training to law enforcement professionals on emotional intelligence, de-escalation and mental health.
