CSD to track interictal spikes in AD...

NeuroNexus A1x16-5mm-100-703-H16_21mm probes were chronically implanted by Christos Lisgaras and Helen Scharfman at the Nathan S. Kline Institute for continuous LFP recordings over 3 days in mouse models of Alzheimer’s Disease. The 100-um site spacing of the linear probe spanned a single track through cortex, hippocampus and dentate gyrus (DG). They performed current source density (CSD) analysis on recordings from episodes of interictal spikes (IIS) along this axis with results suggesting that the dominant activity during IIS is in DG, and that IIS could be modulated by medial septum (MS).  ...
