Our mission is to lead humanity’s quest to understand the origins and prevalence of life and intelligence in the Universe and share that knowledge with the world. Our 100+ scientists conduct grant-funded research, and our STEAM programs educate and inspire children, young adults and educators. Science is for everyone, and all our work is available to the public. The SETI Institute is at the forefront of discovery, a voyage that takes us from Earth, throughout our solar system and to the far reaches of the Universe.
