Izumibashi is located in Ebina City, Kanagawa Prefecture, producing rice and sake since 1857 in the Edo period. We are one of the few breweries in Japan to do everything we can to cultivate rice, polish, and brew sake, which is rare today.

We are confident in all aspects of sake rice and sake production as a Cultivated Brewery; we do not use pesticides or chemical fertilizers, including in-house rice polishing, henpeiseimai, the Koji Futa process, Kimoto yeast production, and the Fune style pressing process.

Our dragonfly logo, printed on the label, is said to be a “Kachi-Mushi,” emphasizing the meaning of good luck, strength, and fortune in the old days of battle.  We hope this message still is meaningful today, and we hope the world will be able to overcome this catastrophic pandemic. This is why we nicknamed our dragonfly label “Victory Wing.” We hope you and your customers will enjoy our handcrafted, victorious Izumibashi Sake with the auspicious winged dragonfly label! We are looking forward to seeing you at the booth!
