Visit booth #1002-02 – 8th & 9th March 2023 at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center
Tokyo-based, Nomu-Japan – (February), 2023 – As part of the Japanese Pavilion, project Nomu-Japan (Romea Wines booth) will exhibit at the 2023 edition of Drinks America, held March 8-9 at New York’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Project Nomu-Japan will join more than 500 exhibitors hailing from 26 countries at the co-located Vinexpo America | Drinks America events, which unite the global beverage alcohol industry for important introductions and dealmaking with North American buyers and decision makers.
Wakae Kihara, founder of project Nomu-Japan, outlined the project’s aim,
“We thrive to innovative products to showcase today’s Japan with uncompromised quality by its craftmanship spirit. Project Nomu-Japan, founded by a diverse team, aims to make drinks part of culture and deliver the essence of Japan embracing more cultural diversity and evolution as this is how ancient Japan indeed began.”
Transforming the landscape of ultra-luxury spirits and accessible ready-to-drink cocktails through Japanese craftsmanship and an unrelenting dedication to flavor and quality. We seek to share our Japanese perspective with our global community that is often intrigued by cultural differences and evolution.
Key products that will be featured by project Nomu-Japan at Romea Wine’s booth #1002-02 include:
- Wabi Sabi Gin™, an ultra-premium, Japanese craft gin that won a rare double Master’s Medal in the 2022 Global Spirits Master’s competition soon after its initial launch as Nomu-Japan’s the very first product. Judges deemed the gin a “flavor bomb” with “some fantastic complexity, a powerful journey”.
- “AwaJin Chotto Buzz™” – will be introduced at Drinks America, a ready to drink, carbonated, canned cocktail. We seek to make Wabi Sabi Gin™ accessible with a zero sugar and low alcohol cocktail using its original award-winning gin. AwaJin means “Sparkling Gin” and Chotto means “just a little” in Japanese. “Sparkling gin, just a little buzz!”
