LiteWave transitioned their novel lidar polarization techniques from laboratory environments into a scanning system light enough to fly on a small UAS and capture accurate measurement of water depths as small as a few centimeters at very high spatial resolution. This capability opens new bathymetric lidar applications where detection of small features and shallow depths, and low-profile operations are of utmost importance.
