Automap is an Australian OEM (original equipment manufacturer) that produces high-end mobile SLAM mapping systems used throughout mining, construction and AEC (architecture, engineering and construction) sectors. These tools are developed for surveying, LiDAR mapping and data analytics. Powered by the award-winning WildcatSLAM odometry engine, Automap’s “TerrusM” and “TerrusS” systems capture colourised HD point clouds that are globally accurate. Their systems ultra-low drift odometry has won the 1st prize for most accurate maps in the “DARPA Sub-T challenge” in 2021 and the “Hilti SLAM challenge” in 2022.
