The Geomatics program in the School of Civil and Construction Engineering is a leading center for research and education in geomatics applied to civil engineering and other fields. Our students collaborate with researchers in a wide variety of disciplines. Focus areas include 3D laser scanning/lidar, uncrewed aircraft systems, geographic information systems, geospatial hazard analysis, GPS/GNSS technology, cadastral surveys, geospatial data management, and geomatics computation and programming.
