Stitch3D is a cloud-data management solution optimized for 3D files. The fundamental challenge when working within 3D workflows is that commercial cloud data solutions, such as Google Drive and DropBox, are incompatible with 3D file types. This means 3D data visualization and analysis are severly limited when sharing 3D files, and significantly increases time to information as users must download and upload 3D files to specialized software to view and analyze. Stitch3D combines a secure cloud data management platform with a fast 3D rendering engine and powerful yet easy-to-use 3D analytical tools to streamline 3D/GIS workflows. Users can upload LIDAR and photogrammetry files of any type up to 250GB per file; create markups and measurements such as distance, area, and volume; apply base map visualization to georeferenced point clouds; and collaborate with clients or teammates in a shared 3D workspace. Stitch3D is founded out of MIT and Harvard and backed by the US Air Force.
