• Keep Railway Projects on Track with Mosaic (Nov 18, 2025)
  Better railways build stronger economies - and AirView, a Czech drone reality capture firm, is proving it with Mosaic. For a major reconstruction project by Správa železnic, the Czech national railway authority, AirView mounted the high-resolution Mosaic X panoramic camera on a locomotive, capturing 91.2MP images every 5 meters. The goal: create a precise, track-level photographic record to support compliance, documentation, and long-term maintenance.
  
  After comparing options, AirView selected the Mosaic X over the Ladybug6 for its simplified setup and sharper results. The AVAG cloud platform, developed by AirView, now fully supports Mosaic imagery, allowing clients to interact with ultra-high-res visuals, point clouds, and digital terrain models remotely.
  
  The project exceeded expectations and set the stage for continued collaboration, including the Czech Republic’s largest highway project.

  With plug-and-play 360° cameras and open, flexible workflows, Mosaic helps teams like Fly North capture complete ground-level context to complement their drone surveys - all without the headache of switching between disconnected tools.

  In their latest project in Colombia, Fly North integrated Mosaic with their drone surveying operations to create a streamlined, hybrid workflow that enhances both efficiency and accuracy. The combination enabled faster decision-making and better insights for infrastructure and land planning in remote areas.

  In just two days, the team covered over 30 km of terrain and delivered fully aligned aerial and ground-level data — without relying on costly or time-consuming mobile mapping setups.
