The Midwest Renewable Energy Association (MREA) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1990 with the mission to promote renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable living through education and demonstration. For more than 35 years, the MREA has expanded clean energy training and access across the Midwest and beyond with programming aligned with market and industry needs. With partners throughout the region, the MREA serves solar professionals through professional training as well as consumers, jurisdictions, and institutions through grassroots, community education, and events.
