Polar Power is mixing the right amount of clean fuel with PV to lower system cost and maintenance while improving reliability. These hybrid systems are opening new market applications that were previously limited to diesel fueled generators for: telecommunication sites, farming, cold storage, rural electrification, and micro-grids. Too often PV is overlooked because of insufficient space or cost.

Over the decades Polar has been optimizing DC generators for PV applications by increasing reliability, simplifying integration, offering significantly higher fuel efficiency and considerably lower maintenance. Our DC generators have the unique option of communicating with the BMS for voltage / current control.

Polar also offers combined heat and power options that recover heat energy from the engine offering efficiencies greater than 80%. A combination of PV and clean fuel can charge electric vehicles at faster rates, heat the house, pool, hot water and run the air-conditioner. These systems further the adoption of nano-grids.
