Bay Ship & Yacht Co. is a full-service shipyard located on San Francisco Bay. We occupy a 30-acre property in Alameda, CA, located on deep water in the Oakland Estuary. Our facility includes a 750-ft pier, a 600-ft pier, a 1,200-ton syncrolift, 2,800-ton capacity floating drydock and a 6,290-ton capacity floating drydock, as well as 1,400 lineal ft of on-rail dry berth and over 60,000 sq ft of shop, storage and office space.
Our drydocks, syncrolift and piers are equipped to provide all the necessary hotel services for ships in service as well as the industrial services required for ship repair. Pier side production shops include machine, fabrication, pipefitting, paint, sandblast, sheet metal, propeller and electrical shops, with the full range of skills and expertise required for all ship repair services. Our greatest service and primary focus, however, is to ensure that you, the customer, leave the yard absolutely satisfied!
