Nichols Brothers Boat Builders (NBBB) is located in Freeland, WA on Whidbey Island within the Puget Sound region of the Pacific Northwest. NBBB is a complete new-build shipyard capable of new vessel construction from production engineering, through construction, outfitting, and turn-key delivery. NBBB is also a full-service repair facility for various types of vessels. NBBB has more than 59 years of experience, with a very diverse portfolio of workboats and passenger vessels for the commercial, military, and government sectors.
Sister company to NBBB, Everett Ship Repair (ESR) is located at the Port of Everett, WA, making it an ideal location for vessel repair and service. ESR currently has two operational drydocks, the Faithful Servant and the Emerald Lifter. The Faithful Servant accommodates vessels ranging in size up to 436’ x 110’ with an 8,000 ST+ lifting capacity. The Emerald Lifter accommodates vessels up to 220’ x 62’ with a 2,000 ST+ lifting capacity. Additionally, ESR has over 500’ of in-water moorage space including pier-side, barge-side, and alongside (6) dolphins. ESR’s 150T crane and work barge support complex projects in both drydocks.
