Everything began in the small oyster harbor of La Tremblade in the Charente Maritime, where Eutrope GEAY
and his son Georges, the family’s pioneers, enliven the local markets with their charismatic personality and
the exceptional quality of their oysters. It was only after the Second World War that René GEAY, from the
3rd generation, went beyond regional borders and developed the reputation of GEAY Oysters by delivering
to fishmongers throughout France by himself. The heritage of this know-how is perpetuated by Patrice
GEAY who improves the technics and develops a range of exceptional oysters from fine fattened to vintage
oysters in order to establish its reputation at the national level. Today, Adrien GEAY, being proud of his
parks, which offer him his vintage oysters, deploys his energy t o make them known worldwide.
