Highland Agro a partnership firm, promoted by Mr. Pratik Jena and family, was established in the year 2019 with an aim to set up a world class shrimp processing unit at Balasore with state of art design and facilities.The firm also gets a sanction of subsidy of Rs.10 crore from the ministry of food processing industries under the scheme for integrated cold chain and value addition infrastructure.It has an aim to commence its full fledged production from October 2020 onwards with a capacity of 80 mt of daily production and to achieve a export sales turnover of Rs.200 cr in its first year of operation.
Being roped into the product leaders like glory for IQF & DSI for plate freezer, Evapco for condensers, Blitzer for refrigerator condensers, emirates for cold storage panel, comb lift for storage area and also got 24 nos of refer vehicles for smooth operation for both production and logistics.
