New Cheng Corporation was established in 2002 at Pingtung, Taiwan.
Dedicated to the processing of Frozen Roasted Eel (Unagi Kabayaki), New Cheng was able to extend service to the global market, including Japan, EU, US, Southeast Asia, and Middle East.  After the certification of HACCP and EU Certificate in 2005, New Cheng further enhanced their emphasis on Food Safety by being the first in Taiwan to obtain SQF food safety certification in 2012.  It still remains the first roasted eel factory with SQF certification in the world. 

New Cheng provide a more diverse line of products. Ready to eat products such as Seaweed Salad, Flavored Fish Roes, Seasoned Squid Salad, and Seasoned Norwegian Mackerels were added to the product lineup.

And we also responded to the needs of industry and established a trading department that serviced both the pork and seafood category. It provided customers with a one stop service from raw material to the finished products.

To the future
