Association of Fish Processors & Exporters of Seychelles (AFPES)
The Association of Fish Processors and Exporters Seychelles (AFPES) is the organisation that promotes the interest of the industry for and on behalf of the sector in Seychelles. AFPES member firms export fresh and frozen seafood to regions such as the USA, EU, Middle East, Asia, and Africa. Their product offerings include frozen by-catch caught by industrial tuna vessels, fresh tuna caught by semi-industrial long-liner vessels, and dried sea cucumbers. Additionally, AFPES member firms also process and export various pelagic and demersal type species, including swordfish and red snapper.
AFPES Member firms who shall be present at Seafood Expo 2023 include The Morin Group, Oceana Fisheries, Tropical Tuna (Pty) Ltd, Marlu (Pty) Ltd and Ocean Basket (Pty) Ltd incorporating Tuna Exporters (Pty) Ltd. In addition to the AFPES delegation shall be representatives from the Seychelles Fishing Authority (co-sponsors) and the Ministry of Fisheries & the Blue Economy.
