Salmon Evolution is a Norwegian land-based aquaculture company. We are extending the ocean’s
potential by transferring the best conditions offered by the sea to grow salmon on land.
At Salmon Evolution, we provide ideal growing conditions in our land-based facility. By doing so, we eliminate the challenges associated with conventional salmon aquaculture, we improve fish welfare, and we reduce impacts on our shared planet
Our first production facility is strategically located at Indre Harøy, on Norway’s west coast. With unlimited access to fresh seawater and renewable energy, our fully developed facility will have an annual capacity of 31 500 tonnes head-on gutted salmon.
And we are expanding globally – with the goal to bring the production of high-quality salmon closer to the consumer:
*First in South Korea where we have teamed with seafood giant Dongwon Industries to develop, construct, and operate a land-based salmon facility.
*Second, we have initiated expansion in North America and are actively pursuing opportunities on both coasts in Canada and the United States
