    Compact means infeed, weighing and grading on one belt and in one frame. The MARELEC M3 compact grader is an easy-to-use, simple and robust solution. This is combined with the same precision of the classic graders....

  • With the MARELEC M3 compact grader, MARELEC sets the new standard for smaller versatile grading systems using pull-arms. It is available with 6 or 8 stations, combined left and right. Options such as batching are available on request. The compact grader can be used on all kinds of fish products such as fish fillets, whole fish, tilapia, sea bass, sea bream, mackerel, salmon fillets, cod fillets, crabs, etc.

    The compact grader features an open structure that makes it simple and effective to clean after use. It also has a hygienic design. Additionally, it comes with an intuitive software interface that makes programming simple and quick. The compact grader machine operates with the least amount of noise. This makes the working atmosphere for operators pleasant. Finally, because the machine is delivered as a single preassembled unit, installation is a simple plug-and-play process.

  • MARELEC has extensive experience in grading solutions. Each customer or situation is unique. With its solid background and experience in grading systems, MARELEC can offer a wide range of solutions for the specific needs of each customer. MARELEC places a priority on openness with customers, in order to fulfil needs and expectations.

    All grading systems consist of three important components; infeed, weighing and sorting/batching. The infeed system will determine the capacity of the grader. Marelec offers a wide range of options for these systems.The fish products are mostly weighed dynamically. Depending on the type of fish Marelec can present a variety of solutions for sorting systems that are fully customized to customers specific needs.

    One or more take-away conveyors can be optionally used to transport the batches or trays to the following stage in the production process. The grading systems can be connected to the MATRIX software, which allows full integration and traceability in the production line.

  • Grader after portioning
    A grader can be put placed after a portion cutter to group different weights together. MARELEC has a variety of solutions that will suit the need for your your fish processing requirements....

  • The portion cutter provides the option to cut portions into multiple target weights and optimize yield. Optional tools and an acceleration conveyor enable pieces to be separated after the cutting machine. 

    Placing a grader after the portion cutter allows different target weights to be grouped together. Batches can be optionally created with these target weights. 

    The graders in line with a PORTIO consists of a wide range of designs. We can design customized solutions for special applications according to customers' specific needs. 

    The outfeed product holder on the PORTIO portion cutter automatically separates the fish portions reducing manual labour. Value can be added to each portion by cutting into different target weights. The identical portions are grouped afterwards by the grader optimizing yield of process. The grader can be customized to individual needs by adding trim tables, batching stations or automatic take-away conveyors. Lastly, by using MATRIX COM option (short for COMMUNICATION), the grader weighs each portion leaving the PORTIO and gives feedback to compare the weight with the desired target weight that has been programmed.

  • At salmon slaughterhouses, the weight and quality of the incoming raw material provides valuable information on the next stage in the process. When graded as prime whole salmon, the fish can be packed in Styrofoam boxes with minimal giveaway.

    MARELEC has built up considerable knowledge and expertise over the years and can offer you the perfect whole salmon grading solution. Secondary qualities might be fine graded for further processing. Once fillets have been sorted, they are usually trimmed and the yield, quality and capacity per operator is recorded. After trimming, fillets can be graded again and batched or cut into fixed-weight portions.

    By collecting data in the MATRIX software you can monitor yield and take control of the process. MATRIX ensures full traceability and upstream feedback.

  • The PORTIO 1 fixed-weight portion cutter for poultry uses the top camera to scan the volume of the chicken fillet, deboned thigh meat or other flat poultry meat. The portioner can be upgraded to a PORTIO 3 by adding 2 side cameras. Bolt-on options are available to adapt the fixed-weight portioning machine over the operating life of the portioner in accordance with the evolution of your applications and processes.

  • The PORTIO 1 DAP is a dual-lane, fixed-weight portion cutter that uses a top camera on each lane to scan the volume of the chicken fillet, tender fillets, or deboned leg meat. It is typically used for portioning poultry cubes, poultry slices, karagee, kakugiri or BLK. The DAP Intelligent Portion cutter is a superior machine, when considering the width of the belt, for instance.

    The MARELEC PORTIO JET is a state of the art waterjet cutter based on more than 15 years successful experience in portioning. The waterjet cutter is designed to portion boneless poultry products while maintaining fixed weights....

  • The PORTIO JET is developed to maximize yields when cutting predetermined shapes from poultry fillets or deboned leg meat to fixed weights. The camera and laser combination scans to the highest accuracy and the intelligent cutting algorithm calculates the optimum cutting pattern. Typical applications include cutting chicken fillets into fixed-weight portions, cubes or strips. Boneless leg meat can be trimmed down and portioned into fixed weight portions, better known as steaks or thigh patty. Strips or cubes, such as karaage, kakugiri or BLK, are extremely popular.

    The MATRIX J software collects all production data from the PORTIO JET and allows it to generate production reports for each shift or program and to trace changes at machine level. MATRIX J software enables users to remotely take programs offline and monitor the status of the machine status using an event log.

    The PORTIO JET contains a modular design for increased capacity and complies to the most stringent hygienic standards. It uses the latest vision technology, featuring a 200Hz camera scans the products such as chicken fillets or boneless leg meat and converts this into a 3D model and a flexible cutting algorithms.  Combining the latest vision technology with our PORTIO JET optimalisation software and state of the art nozzles results in the highest yield in the market.   • The PORTIO 3 fixed-weight portion cutter for poultry uses the top camera combined with the lateral side cameras to scan the volume of larger more rounded chicken or turkey fillets. Bolt-on options are available to adapt the fixed-weight portioning machine over the operating life of the portioner in accordance with the evolution of your evolving applications and processes.

    The PORTIO software for the portion cutter always calculates the cuts so as to leave zero waste, and maximize the yields. Conditional programs are possible for increased yields. Combinations of fixed thickness and various fixed weights allow portioning for a maximum yield for all poultry applications.

    A set of 3 cameras is used to scan irregularly shaped filets as well as more rounded chicken or turkey fillets. Conversely, the portion cutter has automatic stretch compensation which guarantees optimum accuracy over the years, using the same belt.

    It is also possible to add specific applications.
