Flow wrapping technology consist of manufacturing packages with three seals created from a flat roll of film. It provides flexibility, allowing you to easily package flat or irregularly shaped products. Flow wrapping also gives you the ability to quickly adapt to different product sizes and packages with or without a carrier tray in a broad range of applications. Several different film types like polypropylene, laminate, and polyolefin shrink can be used. Flow wrappers are suited for small to large production volumes to maximize productivity, minimize waste, and incorporate advanced packaging features such as modified atmosphere, consumer protection and consumer-friendly packages. Our flow wrapping line consists of 24+ standard models including rotary, rotary D-cam, box motion, and long dwell cross sealing systems. Allen-Bradley® controls are now standard for an increasing number of models for ease of service and support.

Thermoformer machines are automatic horizontal packaging machines that form packs within the machine’s frame using a top and bottom reel of film. The bottom film is shaped, forming an open container or pack. The product is then placed in the pack utilizing the available loading area. The packs then advance to a sealing station where vacuum is drawn to remove the air and, if necessary, add gas for modified atmosphere (MAP). The top film seals a lid over the packs and the individual packs are separated in the cutting station.
