Handcrafted Spiced Rum

The adventure started in 1973: the Oksen family began to prepare infused rums in the purest handcrafted tradition in their small distillery. Encouraged by popular demand, Franck OKSEN decided to launch his own production in 2008. His intention was to play with the aromatic range of spices, berries and fruit through exclusively natural, slow, rigorously controlled macerations in agricultural rum from the French West Indies.

His first creation was made with an entire stick of a genuine piece of cinnamon bark infused for several months to enhance the very essence of the spice with a hint of woodiness. This 100% natural spiced rum has a lovely coppery color and a 40% proof that will surprise even a demanding nose or an expert palate. It can be enjoyed dry, in a festive cocktail, in a comforting grog or even in pastry.

Vodka, Gin and Tequila are at the forefront of this growth but we believe this provides us with the opportunity to pioneer, develop, and take hold of a unique market positioning. We feel that mass-market spiced rums fail to deliver on the implied taste promise, are often laden with additives and rely on mixers to deliver an acceptable drink experience
