We are a family winery founded in 1789 & now managed by the 7th generation.  FW Langguth Erben is one of the largest wine producers in Germany with about 6 million 9L cases sold in more than 90 countries.  We are best known for the best selling German wine brand in Germany: "Erben".  We also produce the international best seller "Blue Nun".  In addition, we produce several other international wine brands in Germany & with partnerships in Spain, South Africa and Italy. 

Due to the foresight of Johann Wolfgang Languuth, the grandfather of current president Patrick FW Langguth, the company has been focused on branded wine and innovation.  The creation of quality German brands to meet consumer demand was revolutionary & we still sell these famous brands worldwide: Erben, Himmlisches Moseltropfchen (now known as HiMo), & Medinet.  We acquired another large producer in 1996, H. Sichel Sohne and with it "Blue Nun".
