I'm Ettore Ciancico and La Salceta is my interpretation of the territory and viticulture in Valdarno. Diversity, integrity and community are its key words, which is why since its foundation in 2003 I have chosen to adopt organic management, using the most modern knowledge and technologies to preserve the vitality and complexity of the land and to stimulate the self-defense of vineyards and olive trees. Through a management of the vineyards aimed at protecting the vines, we work on the capability of the vine to naturally develop its self-defenses, to obtain healthy and high-quality grapes, an indispensable cornerstone of perfect winemaking. Our way of working in the cellar then, has as its main objective the respect of the varietal characteristics of each grape variety, to make wines full of aromas, fresh, of good complexity and great territorial expressiveness. I like to think that the La Salceta's wines are remembered for their particular identity, for their pleasant drinkability, fortheir being organic and with a really low level of sulphites. And because they are wines that are first born in my vineyards, grow in the cellar how to make evident their great potential.
