QIMERIONI Winery is dedicated to producing premium wines of exceptional quality from vineyards situated in Georgia’s most acclaimed winemaking region Kakheti, namely in village Chumlakhi of Gurjaani District.
Founded in 2011 QIMERIONI is a quality driven wine company whose varietal focus is traditional Georgian grapes such as Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, Aleksandrouli, Mujuretuli, Mtsvane, Usakhelauri, Khikhvi, etc. The company also produces brandy and two sorts of Chacha (strong drink made of grapes).
The variety of grape types, the modern winemaking facilities, experienced winemakers and company’s wine philosophy enables us to produce quality wine respecting the ancient traditions of Georgian winemaking with the most gentle handling techniques.

The great wine is made in the vineyard; that’s the starting point of our winemaking philosophy. Sustainable practices coupled with a tremendous amount of labor allow us to keep our vines in balance and to manage our reduced yields. However, even great grapes still have to be made into a great wine – in the modern well equipped winery with Georgian heritage elements. We crave to take maximum advantage of local conditions to produce world-class wine, which are uniquely Georgian.
The company has the capacity of producing up to 2.5 Million bottles and the potential of producing 5 Million bottles per year after the wine factory building operations are completed.
The winery is equipped with a modern equipment, as well as a significant amount of traditional Qvevri (underground amphoras).
The underground wine warehouse in the cellars locates at a depth of 8 meters. Throughout the year, this underground depth naturally maintains a temperature of 10-14 ° C, which is the ideal heat for storing and aging premium wines. You can find thousands of aged premium wines in Qimerioni’s underground cellar.
The cellar also has a wine degustation room with a panoramic view of beautiful vineyards, the Alazani Valley and the Caucasus Mountains. Here we welcome our guests, carry out wine degustation and introduce them to our culture and history of Georgian wine.
Qimerioni Factory is situated on 15 000 m2 land in the village of Chumlaki, Gurjaani district of Kakheti region
The factory is equipped with a modern equipment such as Ferolli refrigerating system, Gay’s Italian bottling and taping line that can produce 3000 bottles per hour, Buher’s grape receiver that has enameled and stainless steel reservoirs, oak barrels and 46 Qvevri.
Qimerioni also owns 57 hectares of vineyards in Gurjaani and Sighnaghi districts, equipped with the best drip irrigation systems.
