THE ICONIC ESTATE, Member of Alexandrion Group, is a blend of history, tradition, experience and passion dating back to 1892, being the second largest exporter of bottled wine in Romania.
Our wines are available in more than 40 countries around the world. Every year, The Iconic Estate wines are awarded in prestigious national and international competitions and we are the first Romanian wine producer to be awarded The Grand Gold Medal at “Concours Mondial de Bruxelles”.
The Iconic Estate owns production, warehousing facilities, three bottling lines, warehouse with controlled temperature and underground cellars. Tohani is one of the biggest cellars of Dealu Mare region, with a processing capacity of 5,000 tones and a storage capacity of 37,900 hl, 500 oak barriques. Rhein & Cie Azuga 1892 Cellars, Sparkling wine production and a popular destination for Wine Tourism, is considered the oldest location in the country where sparkling wine is produced without interruption, through the traditional method. In the cellars built above the ground, with double walls, black mould and natural ventilation, visitors may fully appreciate the art of producing sparkling wine.
