The Cru of 3 colours:
Situated in France, in the south of the Rhone Valley, Vacqueyras is a Provencal village full of character. Protected by the Dentelles de Montmirail overlooking the village, the Vacqueyras vineyard (1 460 ha) benefits from a diversity of soils and terroirs; pebbles, fine sands, clay, marl, saffron, sandstone, gravel and fragments of white limestone.
A land of red, white and rosé – the winegrowers, guided by their ancestral know-how, enhance the unique features of this terroir and create meticulous blends giving the wines finesse, harmony and balance.
Vacqueyras acquired its own “CRU” appellation on 22 February 1990

- Colours distribution : 94% red - 5 % white - 1% rosé
- 30%of the surface area of the appellation in organic farming
- 98 privates cellars - 40 trading houses - 4 cooperative cellars
- 36 hl/ha (one of the lowestyields in France)
- 45 000 hl of production on average
- 6.000.000 bottles produced per year
