Xavier Vignon, the son of a trained stonemason, was born and bred in Picardy. He discovered his passion for winemaking later on in life. He completed an oenology degree in Montpellier where he also studied agronomy.
With both degrees under his belt, he began his tour of France's vineyards: Alsace, Bordeaux, Champagne .... before flying to Australia to discover new horizons.
ln 1996, he settled in the southern Rhône Valley and started his activity as a consultant oenologist in a consulting laboratory in Vaucluse. lt was there that he fell in love with the Dentelles de Montmirail and acquired his own vineyards.
Now a consultant oenologist and wine-grower, he continues to develop his business activities in France and abroad.
