Château La Coste stands in a class of its own, in a 130-hectare Provence vineyard between debonair Aix en Provence and the lavish Luberon nature park.
It was built around a unique approach to winemaking: the vineyard grows Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Cabernet-Sauvignon in red / rosé grapes, and Vermentino, Clairette, Chardonnay, Sauvignon in white grapes following Agriculture Biologique methods. Organic cultivation is a priority at Château La Coste, inspired by the rules of biodynamics and ensuring the preservation of the soil and the environment.
The alchemy of the blend takes place in a new generation cuverie, designed by the French architect Jean Nouvel and inaugurated with the harvest of 2008. This brand new technology with an avant-garde appearance and its texture of sheet metal ensures the natural expression of the wine.
This architectural work, unique in Provence, is made of 2 buildings that host the harvest, the maturation of the grapes, and the bottling process. The Winery unites the perfect conditions for wines of excellence, ambassadors of the terroir of Provence throughout the world.
