The Federal Investment Council was founded more than 60 years ago by the Argentine provinces, and its objective is to promote the harmonious and comprehensive development of all the regions of the country. The spirit of the Agency is to work through federalism promoting regional development.
Among its main functions, it operates as a permanent research, financing and advisory body throughout the Argentine Republic. The Council has a permanent presence in each of the provinces, which provides continuous assistance to companies and local authorities.
The Council seeks to insert regional economies into the world from their exportable productions, the insertion of the provinces at the international level, cooperation and international technological innovation applied to local exportable productions, the creation of new export companies and the attraction of investments.
To achieve these objectives, missions abroad, inverse missions, technical missions, pre-financing of exports, technical cooperation with the provinces, preparation of studies and reports, among others, are organized.
