Martin Puklavec had a vision: to make the finest wines together. This philosophy continues to resonate through the winery today. Nowadays the winery is managed by Martins Granddaughter Tatjana, she and her team are driven by the core values of passion, hard work and dedication to quality.
The cool climate wines are produced in the Podravje region, the North Eastern part of Slovenia, This area provides the perfect microclimate conditions. The winery holds the highest IFS certificate scores and just obtained a 95% score on the sustainability standard Global GAP and Global GRASP.
Puklavec Family Wines devotes a total of 2076 acres to growing grapes, 1483 of which it owns. The vineyards are scattered over a number of hills on an altitude of 250-350 meters. The result are elegant wines, crafted with an uncompromising and passionate attention to detail, beautifully balanced and as expressive as the landscape of their vineyards.
