  • The ADN Verema Wine Guide is the only wine guide created by professionals in the sector (sommeliers, oenologists, specialized press, etc.), enology and viticulture professors, prescribers, wine lovers, and consumers, who through tasting panels and Opinions expressed on the web reflect the trends and opinions of consumers and users of Verema.

    This guide awards in its 2023 edition more than 90 points to a selection of wines from Bodegas Vicente Gandia. The lucky wines have been:

    Clos de Gallur with 94 Points. It stands out for its ruby ​​red with reflections of the same color. High intensity of ripe red fruit with excellent complexity and a delicate memory of new oak wood. Fleshy, with very polished tannins. Round, elegant, and with a very long finish.

    Ceramic Monastrell with 93 points. An intense, dark red wine with lively edges. On the nose, the aromas of ripe plum, licorice, and notes of coconut and vanilla stand out. In the mouth, it is broad, and robust, with sweet tannins and elegant acidity. Leaving the memory in the mouth of these very ripe red fruits.

    Vicente Gandia Bobal Negro by Pepe Hidalgo with 92 points. An intense red wine, with a purple rim and dense tears. The aroma of broom, red fruit, and English caramel with light nuances of smoke. In the mouth it is resounding, it fills the mouth leaving sensations of oak.

    Vicente Gandia Bobal Rosado by Pepe Hidalgo with 92 points. It has a very pale pink color with copper reflections. On the nose, it expresses delicate aromas of rose, red fruit, and grapefruit. On the palate, it is agile, fresh, and on the palate very friendly and unctuous.

    Vicente Gandia Bobal Blanco by Pepe Hidalgo with 91 points. This wine is yellow in color with gray and reddish backgrounds. The aroma of wild strawberries, white flowers, and ripe white fruit. In the mouth, it presents an integrated, refreshing acidity with a long finish reminiscent of berries.

  • Clos de Gallur and Bobal Rosa are among those chosen by this prestigious Guide

    The Valencian winery manages to include two of its references in the twenty-first edition of the Proensa Guide directed by the prestigious critic Andrés Proensa who calls it “the territory of extraordinary wines”, because only those that reach and exceed 90 points on a maximum scale of 100 appear in this selection.

    With his wines, Clos de Gallur and Bobal Rosa, both with 91 points, Vicente Gandía manage to position itself again on the top, since being selected in this guide is a great recognition of their quality. This Guide is considered one of the strictest due to its rigor and excellence in Andrés Proensa’s scores and this makes the winery very proud of the well-deserved recognition.
