Quinta de Lemos is the result of a man's dream-Celso de Lemos-to create an excepetional wine os quality and excellence at the level of the best in the world. The dream began in the 1990s. Quinta de Lemos is located in the Dão Valley at an altitude of 340 meters.The property consists of 50 hectares, of which 25 hectares are vineyards of endogenous grape varieties. The region has the perfect climatic conditions for wines of excellence. Granite and sandy soils characterize this oldest wine region of Portugal, well protected through four large mountains.One of the characteristics that make Quinta de Lemos wines so special is its dependence on endogenous grape varieties: TOURIGA NACIONAL, TINTA RORIZ , JAEN and ALFROCHEIRO.
