Freely inspired by the palaces in Tuscany, the Château d’Astros was built in 1860 by a keen admirer of the Italian Renaissance.

This unique estate in Provence belongs to the Martin-Maurel family since 1802. 9 generations have worked on this land and shared their passion. The family is known for their activity in private banking and the Rothschild Martin-Maurel Bank. Family ambassadors are also entrepreneurs across the globe: USA, Hong-Kong, Rio de Janeiro, Sydney, Paris, Marseille.

Since 2020, the estate is Certified Organic. Much more than a label, it is a recognition of one of the founding values of Château d’Astros: respect for life and biodiversity. Favouring gentle methods daily, from the vineyard to the cellar. Supporting nature, welcoming its treasures; sublimating it without artifice.

• 2022 - EXPRESSION OF RESILIENCE (Jan 26, 2023)

  2022 will be remembered as a hot and particularly dry year. Nurtured by the vigilance of the teams, the grapes remain resistant and generous to the harshness of the climate.

  Deeply rooted in the soil of Provence, they draw their energy, without excess, from the limestone and clay. 28 days of harvesting, 448 tons of perfectly ripe grapes, 3200 hl of must : this is how a wine with solar elegance and irreproachable quality is born.

  A magical encounter between Nature and Man; the 2022 vintage illustrates, once again, the durability and adaptability of our vineyard and its unique terroir.

  The result is a complete and complex range of flavours, a pure expression, always fresh, silky and delicious.

  3 cuvées for 3 moments of eternity. A range of exceptional wines that reflects the Astros experience and its spectrum of emotions.

  Three wines displaying a well-balanced aromatic signature, each with its own distinct identity.

  Aventure is a spontaneous and expressive wine, thanks to its freedom in blend, honouring little-known grape varieties, such as marselan.

  Amour is a timeless rosé that subtly combines the tenderness of the fruit with intense mineral notes.

  Absolu is the ultimate alliance between plenitude and freshness, born from a selection of Astros ‘finest vines.
