Founded in 1967 close to Carcassonne (South of France), Les Vignobles Foncalieu is a union of cooperative wineries rooted in the heart of the Languedoc. Our 800 winegrowers work every day to bring out the best in our terroirs, from the foothills of the Cité de Carcassonne to the shores of the Mediterranean.
United by the values of cooperation, our winegrowers cultivate authenticity, team spirit, know-how and innovation to offer a more responsible viticulture.
The portfolio of Les Vignobles Foncalieu is quite wide: unusual grapes such as Albarino, Piquepoul noir, several appellations (Minervois, Corbières, Saint Chinian), many IGP OC (organic and conventional), dozen of exceptional rosés and even resistant grapes. Foncalieu is a specialist as well of private labels for many chains such as Kroger, Harris Teeter, Lidl.
The quality remains always the key word at Foncalieu: many of Foncalieu's wines are rewarded every year by International press and get impressive ratings (92 up to 94 points Parker, 91 points James Suckling, 91 points Decanter)
