Xavier Vignon, the son of a trained stonemason, discovered his passion for winemaking later on in life. With both degrees of oenology and agronomy under his belt, he began his tour of France's vineyards before flying to Australia. ln 1996, he settled in the southern Rhône Valley and started his activity as a consultant oenologist in a consulting laboratory. lt was there that he fell in love with the Dentelles de Montmirail and acquired his own vineyards. Now a consultant oenologist and wine-grower, he continues to develop his business activities in France and abroad. Xavier Vignon, a specialist in the terroirs of the Rhône Valley and virtuoso of blending! By combining his collaborations with prestigious wine estates that he has worked with for many years and the freedom offered by a human-sized structure, Xavier Vignon rigorously selects wines that he blends and composes in order to create cuvées with a strong personality combining concentration, minerality and nobility of fruit.
