Rockbelt Ridge wines are the dream of Native African, Dan Mosia. His dream was to farm his own land,produce wine grapes,and craft his own wine out of the rocky African soil in the Robertson Valley. He crafted this magnificent wines with the input of a local farmer and wine maker and proudly shares it with you.

Dan has a proud history as one of the most passionate, smart, hardworking, and respected farmers in the agricultural business in South Africa.  Dr Dan Mosia started his passion for farming in 2004 as a livestock farmer and soon ventured into cash crops with a great interest in the development of black commercial farmers. Today he manages his family’s multi-farming operations with the latest inclusion of the Rockbelt Ridge winery in Robertson in the Western Cape.

He enjoys living in harmony not only within his own family but also with his surrounding; his farming community, the multiple cultures around him and the beautiful South African outdoor lifestyle.

For the past two years, Rockbelt Ridge has been gradually increasing its varietals, now producing 11 quality wines that are beginning to make significant inroads in the wine-loving South African market.
