The history of our domain begins in 1927 when Gustave Devaux inherits some vineyards located in Viviers sur Artaut. It is only between 1992 and 1998 that his great-grandson, Alain SIMON, learns the profession of the vine and the wine in one of the best schools of France. In 2003, Alain Simon became a harvester and handler.

Nowadays, the domain is composed of 10 hectares of vines aged from 10 to 90 years old and located in the Côte des Bars, the Côte des Blancs and the Marne Valley.

The vinification is made as simply as possible, with a minimum of sulphur, a minimum of underdrawing and with an aging in wood of the reserve wines. The objective is to make wines as naturally as possible. This is why the simon-devaux estate is committed to the protection of the environment in order to produce wines of better quality while taking care of the planet. The domain has received the following certifications:

- VDC (Viticulture Durable en Champagne)

- HVE (High Environmental Value)

Today, the estate aims to conquer international markets. Our champagne is already present in Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Italy.
