By being the first company to provide a maritime battery with the needed capacity, lowered cost and safety level, Corvus Energy became pioneers on maritime energy storage systems (ESSs) for almost every vesseltype breaking the ground for future development.
More than 50% of the worlds hybrid and zero emission vessels are equipped with Corvus Energy Storage Systems. We now have more than 350 MWh deployed in 500+ projects and more 3 500 000 operating hours. This gives us valuable feedback, enabling us to continuosly improve our products and services to meet the highest standards and at the same time push boundaries for how energy storage is used to save costs and emissions.
Our product portfolio covers 7 different maritime batteries, all developed to meet the specific requirements of different market segments. Light weight batteries for fast passenger craft, large battery systems for cruise and ro-pax, batteries with high cycling capability for ferries and offshore, and subsea batteries for ROV operations.
Custom developed mechanical and electrical design combined with state-of-the-art battery management systems, provides Corvus Energy’s customers with not only lower maintenance costs but also reduced fuel consumption, and emissions.
In addition, we are also developing the next generation maritime hydrogen fuel cell together with world leader on fuel cell technology, Toyota.
