The factory produces a full product range of steering gears, including steering controls & motor starters with integral alarms thus ensuring one-source responsibility for the entire steering system.Working closely with naval architects, ship designers & ship builders, Jastram offers help with initial design through to commissioning guaranteeing that each steering system is designed for optimum performance. Jastram offers custom system design & professional engineering support to customers retrofitting existing systems.Steering systems are built with precision components carefully matched to ensure long life & exceptional performance. A modular product concept provides flexibility when applications require specific features or a short delivery.The Company is Type Approved in both design & manufacturing of steering cylinders by numerous class societies & also operates within guidelines of the ISO 9000-2000 QA standard.
