Flender offers customized gearbox solutions for Suction Hopper Dredgers including drive systems for the dredger pumps as well as the drive systems for the propulsion system. Based on decades of experience, Flender develops the optimum solution for each dredger. Applications include cutter head drives, suction and presser drives and jet pump drives.
We also provide planetary gear units to raise and lower Jack-Up Rigs where a high transmission ratio in excess of 7,000 and high torque are characteristic of our planetary gear units.
