Phoenix International Holdings, Inc. Operating from eight regional support facilities on the East, Gulf, and West Coasts of the United States, Phoenix provides a full range of underwater services.  Core business segments include deep ocean survey; search and recovery; waterborne ship inspection, repair and maintenance (IRM); submarine rescue; and offshore oil and gas infrastructure IRM.  Our extensive portfolio of underwater capabilities includes surface supplied and one atmospheric system diving; Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) and Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) operations; and pressurized submarine rescue system design, fabrication, and deployment.  Phoenix maintains a robust in-house engineering capability that supports all our service lines.

  • 7 Anode Installation
    Phoenix diving personnel routinely carry out both underwater fitting and installation or replacement of Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) and sacrificial anodes....

  • Phoenixs highly qualified and technically trained diving personnel routinely carry out both underwater fitting and installation or replacement of Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) and sacrificial anodes on parts of the ship located below the waterline, including the rudder, propeller, and hull. By performing these services, the need for costly dry-docking fees and down time are reduced significantly.

  • 3 Transducer Installation/Repair
    Phoenix teams consisting of highly qualified diver/technicians can quickly replace transducers, echosounders, and speedlogs without disruption to your ship schedule....

  • --Phoenix operates and maintains its own fleet of ROVs and those of the U.S. Navy’s Supervisor of Salvage and Diving.     --Phoenix operates and maintains a 5,000-meter depth-rated Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) Artemis, “Goddess of the Hunt”, search and survey deep-water system.   Equipped with multiple payloads, backseat control architecture, and a Phoenix-built payload computer, the vehicle can accept a variety of sensors enabling real-time behavior control of the vehicle based on sensor input.  The vehicle has a dive endurance of 20 hours at 3.5 knots, a deck turnaround time of less than 4 hours, and a seven-man crew allows for 24/7 operations.  https://www.phnx-international.com/products-services/autonomous-underwater-vehicle/

    --The Phoenix Towed Pinger Locator (TPL) System provides the capability to detect and locate emergency relocation pingers on downed aircraft to a maximum depth of 6,000 msw anywhere in the world.
