  • 150,000 Gallon Bunker Ship
    EBDG designed this 126′ bunker ship for Maxum Petroleum. The vessel has capacity for 150,000 gallons and is equipped with a cargo handling system that allows this vessel to move segregated products, lube and fuel oil, without cross-contamination....

  • EBDG’s project scope included concept and contract design, regulatory support and detail design.  The vessel was featured by the Royal Institution of Naval Architects as a Significant Small Ship of 2018.

  • Staten Island Ferry - Ollis Class
    In 2014, EBDG was selected to design a new class of ferries following the completion of a preliminary design investigation of the Staten Island Ferries' fleet. The double-ended Ollis Class ferries are 320' and have capacity for 4,500 passengers....

  • EBDG's scope of services for this project included the total design and construction support for the new and modified Staten Island ferries, encompassing contract design, bid support, construction oversight services and delivery support. Three vessels of this design are being built by Eastern Shipbuilding, the SSG MICHAEL H. OLLIS, SANDY GROUND and DOROTHY DAY.
