Thoma-Sea Marine Constructors is a family-owned full service shipyard with 3 Gulf Coast locations in Lockport and Houma, Louisiana. Our facilities included two new construction yards and one repair yard. Thoma-Sea’s experienced, dedicated professionals use a common sense approach to quality ship building and repair. Thoma-Sea’s broad range of experience includes: Offshore Towing vessels up to 11,000 horse power. Ship Escort Z Drive Tugs; ATB Tugs; Mini Supply Vessels; DP 2 Diesel Electric Platform Supply Vessels; Research Vessels; Inland Push Boats and Commercial Fishing Vessels. Currently under construction is the following A Rolls Royce Designed Factory Trawler Processor for The American Fishing Market. 2 Barges for the Army Corps of Engineers. Recent vessel deliveries include two Well Stimulation Vessels for Halliburton servicing the oilfields in Mexico. Thoma-Sea’s repair facilities currently have 5 dry-docks in operating. Our capacities range from 2500 ton to 10600 tons. Four of our docks are certified for use by USCG, Army Corp of Engineers and NASA. Recent Improvements to our Facilities include a new hull erection site and 800 feet of bulkhead.
